Aimei Ozaki – catalog 1951-1992 / 122-page softcover with flaps , 8.3 x 10.5 inches / text in Japanese and English; illustrated throughout. A rare collection from an artist I featured on But Does it Float in…2011? It is in overall nice condition with some brown spots/stains to the opening pages which do not affect the artwork. There are also some bumps and age/shelf wear, but the artwork is as vivid as ever.
This monograph was published for a retrospective exhibit, “Natural History of Eros and Thanatos” at the Ikeda Museum. Ozaki’s biomorphic flowers and cacti have long fascinated me, and anyone interested in airbrush work will love it.
